Victorian Department of Planning and Community Development
The Department of Planning and Community Development has an index of grants administered by the Department that you can search based on your topic of interest.
Purchasing a membership to Pathways Australia will enable you to receive a fortnightly funding alert with all the latest corporate, government and other funding opportunities. You will also receive a ‘Guide to Australian Company Giving’ which contains details of the community support programs of more than 220 Australian Companies including contact details, what is offered and how to apply.
The Australian Directory of Philanthropy is published by Philanthropy Australia both in hardcopy and as an online resource. It lists over 350 trusts and foundations that support the work of not-for-profit organisations and hardcopies or subscriptions can be purchased from the site.
grantsearch is a comprehensive funding database, detailing $8 billion distributed to 18,000 recipients every year. Over 3,000 entries in the database cover grant areas from study and travel to research and community groups. Different levels of subscription are available.
Victorian Multicultural Commission
The Victorian Multicultual Commission runs a Community Grants Program to provide support to Victoria’s culturally and linguistically diverse communities, especially new and emerging communities, to develop and sustain local community organisations and programs.
Australian Research Council
The Australian Research Council is a statutory authority within the Australian Government’s Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (IISR) portfolio. The ARC funds research and researchers under the National Competitive Grants Program (NCGP).

The Tender Bridge is a national research and development service of the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Subscribers to the Tender Bridge have access to a comprehensive, searchable database of government, philanthropic and other funds. The database is tailored specifically to the needs of schools.
